If you're one of the two or three PlayStation owners who haven't seen, played, or at least not heard of Tekken, you've come to the end. No more excuses. This is one of the best fighting games ever released, so it's time to press the controller with your hand and pick it up. For those of us who have been around from the beginning, Tekken 3 will not disappoint.

Fighting games are usually the hardest for me to review. I mean, how much can you say about fighting games? You try to knock the other man down before you can knock him down. Thank you, for avoiding your wait, good night. Unfortunately, I can't just say that, and other than that, it really won't be fair. This game is especially difficult to review because Tekken 2 was such a good game. People keep asking me what's better than T2 and the only answer I can come up with is that it's much better and you have to watch it and play it to understand. With that in mind, I'll try to make things a little more, but let me know in advance - you have to watch and play this game to understand why it's so good.

Let's start with the different game modes. Namco has done a great job in developing new game modes to keep the fighting genre fresh, and this game is no exception. Here are some of the standard methods you'd expect from some new additions. These new additions are the ones I will talk about because your old favorites are as flawless as ever. The first is called take force mode. This side scrolling bat is up to Ella Fighting Force. You can choose your favorite character and see if you can block your way in four different sections.

It was a great idea that didn't just click (one of the few complaints about the game). Playing outside of the traditional battlefield was really cool, but the problem was that it was hard to say at least to manipulate your character. They tried to make it 3D so you should be able to go in and out of the screen. Unfortunately, this was much easier than it used to be. The second new mode is called take ball mode. The idea of this game is similar to volleyball. You will play against another character and the purpose is to prevent the ball from landing on the sides of the court. If the ball lands on you, your life will fall as if it were being hit. Also, you can supercharge the hair so if your opponent touches it, they will lose some life. It was a great cool addition to the game but remember, it's only accessible after you finish playing with all your characters.
